This year's Golden Globe was characterized by the natural disaster of Haiti. Under the rainy sky, actresses like Penélope Cruz or Halle Berry wore beautiful dresses in black.
First surprise of the evening was winner Mo'nique, who won the award for the Best Supporting Actress in the movie Precious. Faded Youth Blog quotes what she said yesterday in her winning speech and shows us a picture of the actress in her golden gown.

Haiti was a huge issue this evening. According to the Long Island Press, many attendants promised to donate something they were wearing on that great night, e.g. a purse or boots. Stars like George Clooney have already been active on donating and in charity work before.
