The Republican Sarah Palin has good chances to become a bestselling author. Her memoir Going Rogue: An American Life is already on the top list of orders on the internet.
If John McCain had won the campaign against Barack Obama this year, Sarah Palin would have become Vice President. When announced she was the woman at the side of the presidential candidate, many controversies aroused worldwide. She was and still is considered a strict and conservative politician who was critisiced for her opinions on abortion etc.

Sarah Palin had once won beauty pageants and then become governour of the state Alaska. Many did not really see her loyal or even capable for the job of a vice president, partly because she did not really seem to stand for what she preaches: she provoked discussions and a scandal when she told the media about her 17-year-old, unmarried, pregnant daughter.

The politician, who is by the way no longer governor of Alaska, has yet a lot to write about. Many people might be interested in her story - whether they are sympathetic to her or not.

By the way, she probably wants to run for president in 2012.
