Leona Lewis Attacked in London while signing autographs

The British singer was attacked by a 29-year-old man during her book singing in London.
Leona Lewis was signing autographs while promoting her new autobiogrophy called Dreams. A man in the crowd queued five hours to get near to her and then slapped her. On Facebook.com, her team released a message related to the incidence:

"Leona was the victim of an unprovoked attack this afternoon at her book signing. The police were called immediately and medical attention has been sought. Leona is understandably shaken and apologises to the fans she was unable to meet and complete signings."

According to Tom, she fortunately did not need hospital treatment. Here a short video:

The singer became internationally famous after winning the X Factor and her single Bleeding Love entered number one in 2008, including the USA.
